The first thing you need to know is you are not the first to have this problem,it happened to me before,there are many reason for your printer to no longer work,one of the may reason you're printer stops working is you're printer ran out of ink,another reason for you're printer to not work is that the printer power is off of the wireless router is off.
Another reason for the Printer not to work is that you might have installed or ran updates to your computer or laptop firewall or antivirus program causing the port or software that if for the printer to be blocked.
Finally another reason for your printer to stop working is that your printer ip had changed and it's different than the one your system is trying to communicate with,if that is the case luck for you most of the printer manufacturers have Dr type software designed to fix the wireless printer issue,what I suggest is to get your printer model number and manufacturer name and go to the site and download the wireless printer fix.
